Enercom X Support
Help and Resources for the Enerac iOS/iPadOS App
Getting Started
Ensure your Enerac M700 analyzer is powered on and Bluetooth is enabled. Download the Enercom X app from the App Store and follow the in-app pairing instructions to connect your device.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Q: Which analyzers are supported?
A: This first release of Enercom X supports Enerac M700 analyzers only. - Q: What iOS versions are compatible?
A: iOS and iPadOS 17.6 or later are required. - Q: I can’t connect to my analyzer.
A: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both your analyzer and your iOS device, confirm the app has Bluetooth permission in iOS Settings, and keep the analyzer close to your iPhone or iPad while pairing. Restart both devices and try again if needed. Your Enerac analyzer must be set to a baud rate of 115,200. If this changes for any reason, you must manually reset it on the device itself or by using an app like Enercom 9 for Windows or a serial communication app such as ProComm. - Q: Which Bluetooth device should I choose?
A: Select the device name that corresponds to your M700 analyzer. Depending on the installed Bluetooth module, it may appear as an Enerac M700 device or as the Bluetooth module name. - Q: Why did my analyzer disappear from the device list?
A: The analyzer may be powered off, out of range, already connected to another phone or tablet, or still finishing Bluetooth initialization. Turn Bluetooth off and on, tap refresh in the app, and make sure no other device is currently connected to the analyzer. - Q: The app connects, but readings are not updating. What should I check?
A: Confirm the analyzer is in the correct operating mode, allow any warm-up or purge period to finish, and verify the sample interval is not set longer than expected. If readings still do not update, disconnect and reconnect, then confirm the baud rate remains set to 115,200. - Q: Can I export data?
A: Yes, data can be saved and exported as text via AirDrop, email, cloud apps, or other iOS share destinations. - Q: Where are AutoSave files stored?
A: AutoSave files are stored by the app and can be shared from Enercom X using the available iOS sharing options. Choose a clear filename before a test so the exported file is easy to identify later. - Q: Can I download readings stored on the analyzer?
A: Yes. Use the storage features in Enercom X to download stored readings from the connected M700, review the captured records, and export them when needed. - Q: How do alarms work?
A: Alarm thresholds can be configured for supported reading types. When a reading crosses its configured threshold or reports an over-range condition, Enercom X can show visual alarm status and play audio alerts if alarms are enabled. - Q: Why do some settings take a moment to update?
A: Enercom X communicates with the analyzer over Bluetooth, and some settings require confirmation from the M700 before the app display refreshes. Keep the app open and the analyzer nearby until the setting update completes. - Q: Can I use Enercom X without an analyzer connected?
A: You can open the app and review some saved information, but live readings, device settings, alarms, and analyzer storage features require a supported M700 connection. - Q: What should I include when contacting support?
A: Please include your analyzer model and serial number, iPhone or iPad model, iOS/iPadOS version, Enercom X app version, a description of the issue, and any error messages or screenshots that may help us reproduce the problem.
