Enerac 700 Portable Emissions Analyzers are great to use as a backup for a CEM (Continuous Emissions Monitor) that most government agencies mandate utilities to have in place. The problem is that they go down & most permits read that they have to be back up within 48 hours if they go down. These Fixed systems typically have one sample location that can be from one or more sources but when the CEM’s unit reads higher then permitted for you will need a portable to determine where the problem is. The CEM’s tells you there is a problem but not where it is. Plus you want to have a portable to double check. Which helps you maximize your efficiency of your operations .
